Not only was this evening was a VIP's birthday but also the New Year's Eve before 2006. 2005 showed that in the span of just one year, a lot of chaotic things can happen both in the party and real world,. However, celebrating with the legendary hip hop group, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony at Luxy, really shines some light on how good this new year is gonna be. Thanks to all who came and helped us wrap one more year in the books. With that, we'd like to declare that 2006 is officially underway, so get ready for more of the best from Liquid Lifestyle.
T'was the night before Christmas and all through Luxy, not a creature was stirring... because there wasn't any room to move, stupid! Machi, Luxy, & LLP hosted Xmas 2005. With too many people to count on hand, we wanted to thank all the party goers for making this one bigger than last year's and the year before and the year before. Machi's electrifying performance left the ladies panting for more, especially with special guest appearances from ladykillers Stanley, Steven, & Vaness. All we can say now is, on to New Year's!!!
We've been waitin' about a month to come and let the beast out once more, but little did we know that 3P December was gonna cause such a ruckus. Imagine miles and miles, stretched with PYL (pretty young ladies). Really some fellas might have met up with 2 girls this evening, but you can sure bet that it wasn't our You+You+Me lucky contestant, since the crowd so delightfully set him up with another dude. Oh well, 2 guys, 1 girl, technically that's still a 3P. Anyways, as far as this party goes and as far as the historical data shows, 3P December is up there for sure.
One crowded ladies' night hosted by Liquid Lifestyle Promotions, featuring 1 contest where 1 lucky guy chose 2 girls to complete a 3P evening where we will provide 1 limosine stocked with booz.
Check out pictures of their date. 3P was the most happening party in Taiwan with people crowded and crunched up against each other all night long. We were finally allowed the privilege to breathe when it was near closing time. Can the parties get crazier than this? The parties WILL get crazier than this!!!
Nightmare on Bade Road was by far the most out of control place to be this Halloween weekend. We must've established a new record, with about 90% of the almost 1000 partygoers dressed up... or in some cases, dressed in almost nothing. From the nerd that fell into the fish pond, to the dinosaur fossil decorations, to the unprecedented 3 Mr. Ts, to the winner of our costume contest, Mr. Darlie himself (man he has some white teeth), to our mannequin who somehow managed to lose her hair, cowboy hat, mask, and 2 hands, it was a night that peeps will be talkin' bout till next Halloween!
Lumps on lumps squeezed together looking like a bowl of basmati rice with cottage cheese. That was the scene as Luxy celebrated their 2nd Anniversary, with the Magnificent DJ Jazzy Jeff , who was back to renew his title as the greatest hip hop/ party DJ. He did not disappoint as his performance will sure to be talked about for at least another year to come. As always, Liquid Lifestyle made sure the hoopla of festivities all went down properly.
It seemed like a crazy Friday or Saturday night, but really, it was Sunday nite!!! BONANAS Sunday to be exact. The crowd really got goin' once the clock struck midnight & everyone partied insanely as if they were goin'........ well bananas!! Congrats to the winner of NT$6000 Room 18 money for collecting the most beaded necklaces (not to be confused with pleasure beads). Thanks for making our first Sunday party, first weekend party in several months, and 2nd BONANAS party, a great success.
Taiwan hip hop headz came out to really hold it down & represent. Represent 2005 was the biggest "in-club" event to feature many of Taiwan's best dancers, rappers, and lyricists. One of the highlights of the evening, was DJ Tashi from Japan who wrapped up the event with one of illest dj'ing sets of the year. It was an honor for Liquid Lifestyle to take part in the event and we wish all that came/performed good luck in spreading Taiwan hip hop culture throughout the world.
It was another packed Saturday nite at Luxy and the crowd was going cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Liquid Lifestyle was in the house and as the night went on, none other than rap superstar Coolio stopped by to wind down after an earlier Taipei concert performance. The hyped crowd somehow managed to produce enough energy to convince Coolio to get up on stage, and to our surprise perform a little showcase. The surprises kept coming as Wang Lee Hom and MC Davi joined Coolio for more impromptu rapping. Unreal! You never know what you get when you come to a Liquid Lifestyle party!
Bonanas Xtreme was one great evening as 350 guests intimately partied with Liquid Lifestyle. They soon discovered that partying with us is simply Bo-nanas. The vibe was electric and congrats to Annie, for earning the most beads. Special thanks to all that came out and showed their love, reminding us why we started in the first place.
Liquid Lifestyle put down a party filled with beautiful women, madness, and the club vibe that people have come to live for. The event also hosted a live performance from The Underground Nation, who came full force to rock the party atmosphere. As the night rolled along, the drinks started doing the work, enabling us to fly and pick up buses with ease.... or maybe some of us were in a drunken dream state. Another great party in the wraps.
When the beat drops, the party don't stop...... especially at 3rd Heaven June. Liquid Lifestyle packed the house on a Wednesday nite!!! We knew it was gonna be trouble when the dancefloor was packed at 10:30pm, and were in bigger trouble when the club was still packed at 4:30am, 1/2 hour past the normal closing time. Don't you folks gotta work in the mornin'? Damn, fun is fun & that's what we preach about at 3rd Heaven. Summer breezes are blowin' & now things are smelling a lot more "FRESH" than usual. Find out what that means................ holla!!!
We bid farewell to the last 2 Legit party of the season in high fashion. With the hits from days ago pumpin' in our veins, our bodies could not help but lose control. Everybody added to the insanity as the night neared it's final moments. For now though, Liquid Lifestyle's 2 Legit party series is in the wraps. On to summer.....
At 10:30 the line reached the subway station. By 11 the club was already nearing capacity. Liquid Lifestyle definitely weren't the only ones Thinking About Summer. With girls galore and too many drinks, weird things happened as a lucky few ate edible underwear off of complete strangers. In the next several sweltering, humid months, get ready for meeting lots of hot people, meeting some people you wished you hadn't, sh*!loads of fun, & Liquid Lifestyle's craziest summer to date!
The 2nd babewatch Preview party brought an official 2 : 1.5 drunk to sober ratio, so obviously most peeps were goin' bananas... to the point where one male partygoer was caught flossing in his little G string banana hammock. YIKES! Moving on to pleasant thoughts, the closer Summer 2005 gets, the more it appears as if its going to be one really incredible party season... the likes of which Taiwan has never seen before.
This Spring set some sky high standards. 3rd Heaven May packed a chaotic amount of people. Liquid Lifestyle worked extremely hard to continually keep these people out of control. by the looks of these pictures, the hard work paid off. Summer officially starts in one month with the return of the legendary FRESH Wednesdays. Watch the F*@# OUT!!!
Bring it back ch'all! Bring it back ch'all! Ya know 2 Legit was on again because people started losing their minds at the sound of MJ's Beat It bassline. As the year's pass us by, it's almost as though some things stay as "Fresh" as always. Liquid Lifestyle rocked the party right another night & the only thing to complain about would be why chicks beat all the guys at the beer bong? WTF!!?? Anyways, thanks to everyone who jammed this night away to their favorite songs from the 90's.
Liquid Lifestyle... Crooklyn Clan... Liquid Lifestyle... Crooklyn Clan!!! Once again we packed the club, this time, with one of the top hip hop DJ duos -- DJs Riz and Sizzahandz of Crooklyn Clan. A capacity crowd wedged inside the club to party with the kings of party anthems. Some even came pretty close to losing all their F*-ing clothes. Summer is only a few buttshakes away & that means crazier things are in the works.
Yet another insane bonanza brought to you by, you guessed it, Liquid Lifestyle Promotions. The evening kicked off with the super sexy lingerie clad angels rolling their bodies to the rhythm of the music and moved on to tons of girls taking advantage of the opportunity to trade bodily fluids with each other up on stage! You gotta check out the next 3rd Heaven (5/13). We promise its gonna be tight!
Liquid set if off with the babewatch Preview party. Many beautiful women showed up for this get together, which made being crammed together in the club a lot more enjoyable. Congratulations to Kenny and his sucklicious partner for winning the 3rd Liquid Lifestyle Milk Creamsicle Eating contest. It never hurts to get it all over your face, girls. Thanks to Skyy Vodka and Roxy for donating their prizes. As a wise monk once said, "Party on!!!"
Alright stop! Hammer Time! Ah yeah, 2 Legit April was on for reals as tons of people danced to a mix of the new school with the old. As some MCs would say, "It was DOPE!" Thanks to many who represented & shout outs to all the typewriters, cabbage patchers, moonwalkers, running men, and Roger Rabbits.
A capacity crowd came to Luxy to pay tribute to a true pioneer, Grandmaster Flash. If you weren't here, you missed out on hip hop at its finest. We'd like to thank Flash for teaching Taiwan the roots of hip hop, and givin' us a lesson in how to throw a real New York style block party. "I Was There!"
Generally in the low season, less people go out clubbing. What the hell happened on this night? "3rd Heaven is my Messiah!!!" was heard by one party-goer. P.S., you had to have loved the 2 to 1 girl-guy ratio. DAMN!!!
The launch of Liquid Lifestyle's 2 Legit party series is now officially in the books. We reminisced together with some of the greatest hits from the early 90's. Man, when was the last time you heard "Gangsta's Paradise" or "Every Little Step I Take"? The highlight of the evening was a special guest appearance from the robot dude who displayed some of the finest MC Hammer moves in the Far East. Shout outs to those that came dressed up in 90's wear and stay tuned for updates to 2 Legit, every 2nd Fri of the month.
Our last party in the second month of 2005 was dedicated to the all February babies in da house. The word on the street was everyone had a solid night (those that could remember what happened). For the few who didn't make it past the halfway point of the party, don't worry there'll be many more times for celebration with Liquid Lifestyle. A quick shout out again to the bday peeps that threw it down - Annie, Dedrick, Larry, Ming, Vali, Tom, Ken & Nicole!!! People squeezed into the Galleria as Liquid Lifestyle held the monthly 3rd Heaven party for February. Congratulations to the Winner of the Wanna Be A Luxy Girl Search, Cecilia! This 3rd Heaven marks the end for a long string of weekly Wednesday night extravaganzas hosted by Liquid Lifestyle. Can Wednesdays get any crazier without us? We'll have to wait and see at our next Wednesday Ladies' Nite party, 3rd Heaven March. Unfortunately due to a techinical mishap, the majority of pictures got erased from the memory card before being uploaded to our computers. Sorry! Here are the pictures we were able to salvage.
One of the illest parties of the new year was Liquid Lifestyle's 3rd Annual Traffic Light Party. By the looks of things, many people found new V-Day dates on this evening. Unaquainted couples met and freak danced for the first time in front of a capacity crowd of others for a free Valentine's date. Additionally, the Lucky Lapdance competition brought out the animal in many chickees. Thanks to Psylent, representing the P.I., who showed Taiwan a lesser known aspect of hip hop -- beatboxing. He dropped jaws with a truly phenomenal set. More than anything though, thanks to all who came and showed some love at this year's Traffic Light bonanza.
It was the last 3P & people were out to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Year of the Golden Cock. Whoowhee, people came to party, as the record for most people on a Wednesday Ladies' Night shattered like tortilla chips under an obese mule. Thanks again to the contestants of our Ultimate Beer Bong and Luxy Girl Search competitions. Be ready to lose control with Liquid Lifestyle, because when it's time, just let it all go.
With so many people in attendance, things sorta got outta hand. To add to the insanity, the DJ's laid down some "Ahhhshit sets" which kept the party vibe up. Every few songs had people saying, "Ahhhhhh Shit"!!!! In fact, the party-O-meter scale was pretty much at 9 point something all night long and consistently made the red light flash, meaning this party ish was poppin'! Shout out to this week's Beer Bong Challenge winner & Tina, the second Wannabe A Luxy Girl Search finalist. Stay tuned for the final 3P, where you never know what might happen or who might show up......
The Tsunami Relief Fundraiser party brought in a lot of new faces and some old ones too, but most of all, everyone pitched in on a good cause. Lava Bar was the setting for possibly a first ever fundraiser party in a night club. The music was hot and peeps were partying extra hard to raise donations for those affected by the tsunami on 12/26/2004. Thanks to all the supporters who showed up, DJs Wayne, Analogue, Lucky, and Domination who donated their time, and Skyy Vodka, Jack Daniel's, and Heineken for sponsoring alcohol. Because of all of your efforts, we're donating NT$60,000 to the World Vision International Charity.
2 girls and 1 guy (me) showed up to the 3P party this past Weds. nite.... wait, that was the other party, excuse me. The club was hype even before the clock struck 11pm. That vibe lasted until about, well, when we told people to get the hell out, we're closed! Congrats to our beer bong winners and the first Luxy Girl Search finalist, Mew, who qualified to compete in the finals during 3rd Heaven February (2/16). Also, we would like to apologize to the many peeps who could not set foot on the dance floor, since it was too damn packed! Well, not that sorry... get there earlier next time!
3rd Heaven January was truly a historic event. This was the biggest Wednesday night party ever. We're kinda speechless. Those two long blond-haired guitar strumming buddies, Nelson, summed it up best -- it was "More Than Words". People better watch out, cuz the Taiwan scene is on the up & up, and that means better and bigger parties with crazier gimmicks! At Liquid Lifestyle, we'll be there every step of the way!
